Glad to see you've got it out running on the road, definitely an inspiration to get mine rehabbed. the interior gutting has been delayed by wasps being behind everything I remove (highly allergic). The steering looseness is likely decayed bushings which shouldnt be that bad to replace, I have the same issue with mine. When you get to traveling you should swing by western NY.

    1. I've been surprised the bees haven't been around my motorhome at all this year. Especially with it being parked in one place during the prime months. I do have screens over most of the main entry points but I was actually working on putting screens over the rest the other day.

I found some information online about worn steering parts on the old Dodges a week or two ago, but after looking at mine I don't seem to have that setup at all. Aside from the one adjustment screw, doesn't look like there's much to do other than replace the whole box.
